Katy Perry, threatened by a stalker, gets legal protection

Katy Perry, after being threatened for months by a stalker, has finally obtained legal protection, but this is only a temporary measure.

According to what was told by the American portal TMZ, for months the 38-year-old William Terry obsessively commented on the singer's social posts, without sparing her explicit sexual references and even threatening to death her and her partner (and betrothed), the actor Orlando Bloom.

Things got worse over time, so much so that the man even attempted to break into the couple's Beverly Hills home by climbing over the fence. Fortunately, the attacker was stopped by security and arrested (although he was released soon after).

Katy reported the incident, bringing to court all the evidence in her possession, including comments and threats. And after a rather long period of waiting, he has now finally achieved a first result: the 38-year-old has been joined by a restraining order lasting one month. After this time, there will be a new hearing. But at least, in this period, the two new parents can be more relaxed.
